Years have passed and bruises have faded, only to make room for new scars; her face and body are disfigured, and her wrist carry a permanent reminder of her failed attempts of salvation. The wooden box contains the remainders of her stolen childhood.

Although it's undeniable that this piece is technically superior than my first manip (not a bad progress for two weeks?), I think that the emotion is represented better in The Child Bride than in this one. :/

Maybe I should make a series? Or maybe not.
